Gerald Hemphill

Owner & Agency Principal

Since 1993, Gerald has helped individuals and businesses navigate complex insurance decisions with confidence. Before founding his own agency, he spent five years with a major national carrier, gaining valuable industry experience that continues to benefit clients today. He specializes in commercial insurance risks and is widely recognized for his leadership within the insurance profession.

Gerald is a graduate of Campbell University and Fork Union Military Academy. He and his wife Lori have two daughters and three grandchildren.

Lori Hemphill

Co-Owner & Vice President Agency Operations

With more than two decades of insurance experience, Lori oversees agency operations and personal lines service. She specializes in helping clients navigate complex home, auto, umbrella, rental, and seasonal insurance needs while ensuring the agency delivers a consistently high level of service.

Prior to co-founding GFH Insurance Agency, Lori worked as a paralegal and licensed title insurance underwriter. She is a graduate of Campbell University and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren.
